If you're serious about making money on the Internet, you'll need an auto responder. There are several ways to go. You can buy software that you can run from your computer or your web host. This can be expensive, and the chances of you being accused of spam, fairly or not, are great.

Probably the most popular auto responder service on the web today, aWeber has been around for many years and has a solid reputation. $19/month for unlimited campaigns, up to 500 subscribers
$29/month, 501 – 2500 subscribers

Get Response

Get Response is another very popular auto responder service that has very much the same services as aWeber. Both are excellent, double opt-in lists that are your best security against spam threats. Get Response recently upgraded their system so that there is really almost no difference between the two. This one remains a bit less expensive:

Constant Contact

You may have heard Constant Contact advertised on the radio and other offline media. They know that aWeber and Get Response already have the majority of the existing Internet marketers all sewn up. Therefore, they're going after a slightly different market -- offline businesses -- with the same product. After all, any offline business that doesn't have an online presence today is not looking forward (or even sideways!). That doesn't mean that online marketers can't use it just as well.

This is a newer service with less of a track record. They also have less of a price tag! They occassionally partner with online businesses to offer even better deals. This service has a few less bells and whistles than the "big three" above, but it is very servicable.
