Review: SFI
One of the oldest and strongest Internet business opportunities available today is SFI. SFI used to stand for “Six Figure Income,” but now they’re just “SFI.” SFI uses multi-level marketing (MLM) to sell all kinds of products through their online “Triple Clicks” store. In addition, users can sell their own products through Triple Clicks.
Two Income Streams
As with any MLM there are two ways to earn money in SFI: recruiting associates and selling products. Unlike most MLM’s however, there is no payment to join or to stay a member. Most MLM’s have a minimum monthly purchase, but with SFI there is none. You can literally start up your business for no cash, although you can build it much faster if you DO spend some money.
The First Month
SFI is set up well for newcomers. Once you join, you will be led through a series of short daily training classes that tell you all about SFI, the website, the resources offered, and how to get the most out of your membership. For each class you complete successful you’re awarded what they call Versa Points.
Versa Points are what you gather to determine your rate of commission. Versa Points are earned for a variety of activities. As you’re going through the daily lessons your first month, you’re also given another list of things that you, as a beginner, can do to get Versa Points. If you go through and do most of these things, you’ll reach the 1500 Versa Points needed to become an “Executive Affiliate.”
Executive Affiliate status is what you want to get to each month, because this is the point at which commissions rates become more serious. There are a few levels higher than this which get even better commission rates. If you reach Executive Affiliate status in your first 15 days, then you’ll also be awarded with five co-sponsored affiliates. These are people who signed up after you did who already have another sponsor. You will be their 2nd sponsor, and another avenue for them to turn to with questions. In addition, you earn a small commission on anything they or their customers buy from Triple Clicks.
Executive Affiliate status also gets you a share of the Max Malls pool. Max Malls is a group of retailers whose products are also sold by SFI affiliates through their Triple Clicks store. These are popular chain stores of all types. Commissions to Max Malls are distributed by these “shares” of the pool, rather than by individual.
Continuing with SFI
After your first month, there is no longer an easy list of things to read and study to gain Versa Points. But if you want to maintain your Executive Affiliate status, you must keep getting at least 1500 Versa Points each month. The two primary ways of doing this are through recruiting and purchasing from your own Triple Clicks store.
For each member you recruit you get Versa Points. The number depends on the new recruit’s initial activities within SFI. You can earn points for setting up team advertising, for joining Eye Earn (an group advertising method), for sending emails to your recruits and various other activities.
Anything you buy in your own Triple Clicks store will earn you Versa Points. In addition, you’ll make commission on some of these items you purchased yourself. Commission is only paid on Triple Clicks products, not on resale products from other Triple Clicks users. There are many useful products, such as nutritional supplements, that could be set up on auto-ship to assure your 1500 Versa Points per month.
Any Issues?
The only caution I have is with the Triple Clicks items offered for sale by other Triple clicks users. During my first month I bought one item from Triple clicks. It was one of these resale items – a piece of software I wanted that was being offered at a good price. I paid for it and the seller reported that he had shipped the item, but it never arrived. Triple Clicks requests a confirmation that the item was received for every resale item sold, so I told them I had never received it. They contacted the seller who never responded. They then refunded my purchase price.
So even though you can’t always depend on the integrity of the outside sellers within Triple Clicks, you CAN depend on Triple Clicks to make it right. In my case, this took over four weeks to straighten out, so use care when buying from the outside sellers if this kind of wait would cause problems for you.
SFI Recommendation
During my first month when I was concentrating on learning and setting everything up, I earned less than a dollar for the month, but I was definitely not working it full time. I probably spent less than an hour a day at it. But it was something!
Obviously SFI is NOT a get rich quick scheme! It takes a concerted effort over a period of time before you start seeing good results. It looks to me like they have an excellent system for learning and support. I would recommend SFI especially for those who are looking for a single business on which to concentrate. SFI would not work as well for someone using it as a sideline.
I joined SFI through a team building organization. What first attracted me was that they offered a free auto responder account, just for looking at the opportunity. At the time, I was looking for a new auto responder provider, so I took them up on it. I was impressed enough with their presentation that I went ahead and joined SFI, even though I didn’t have to in order to get the free auto responder account. If you’d like to try it out and get your own free auto responder, just join here. You’ll then be able to offer the same free auto responder to others who join under you. It’s a great pulling item!
SFI is a good, reputable company with a solid plan of action. It is one of the very few good business opportunities that you can work without spending anything to begin with. MLM isn’t for everyone, however. To make the most of SFI, you need to develop good recruiting skills, as well as being able to market their products. As long as you’re willing to do both and you work at it regularly, you should see some success with SFI.
